Michael Nyberg
Michael Nyberg joins Steve Larsen Properties after 18 years in sporting-goods-related sales and marketing, and several years in the local commercial real estate business. Prior to his career in commercial real estate, Michael spent over 12 years with Rodale Press, a $500 million publisher of health and wellness titles, managing the sales efforts at Bicycling and Mountain Bike magazines. As National Cycling Manager, Michael worked with major national cycling brands such as Trek, Specialized, Giant, and Cannondale to meet their sales and marketing objectives through print and online advertising, and by developing integrated marketing programs that included events, promotions and custom publishing. Still a cycling enthusiast, Michael enjoys riding through the desert and mountains of Central Oregon. He served on the Board of Bend Theatre for Young People and as a Volunteer for the Bend Film-related Future Film Makers Festival. As a broker, Michael emphasizes developing long-term client relationships and rapid adaptation to the changing business landscape. His reputation as the top producer in the commercial real estate industry is reflective of his ability to gather all of the information available and effectively serve each client’s needs. A native Oregonian and graduate of Portland State University, Michael has Central Oregon roots that go back two generations. He has lived in Bend with his two children for the past 10 years.
